• Assist the Program Manager (PM) in a science program • Provide technical support and coordinate conferences, demonstrations, expositions, events, meetings, and technical reviews • Maintain briefings and coordinate input for data calls, such as budget exhibit submissions, congressional requests for information and budgetary drills • Serve as a technical liaison between senior officials in other departments, services/agencies, government laboratories, academia and industry personnel • Assist in developing and maintaining key documents and master plans • Support technical management of programs including acquisition plan development, representation of the government project, and assessment of performance in terms of technical objectives, cost and schedule • Familiarity with the development of databases for technical programmatic tracking of milestones using programs such as: task sheets, mission model canvas sheets, quad sheets, fact sheets and drafting portfolio review slides
• Bachelor’s degree - Masters Degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience • Ten (10) years of experience in engineering, mathematics, or science, including biology, chemistry, computer science, and physics • Recent experience (last 5 years) in federal acquisition and budgeting • Experience in Science and Technology (S&T) program management • Experience in technical program management of programs in excess of $1M • Experience in planning methodologies to analyze research programs and development of databases for technical and programmatic tracking of key deliverables and milestones • Experience in evaluating and developing analytical models, procedures, and techniques • Experience in executing and reviewing technical studies, analysis, and design activities • Secret DoD Clearance
