• Engaging clients and prospects via phone to identify sales opportunities for immediate closure, funnel placement, or assignment for the development and growth of individual sales territory in alignment with annual quota to aid in territory and key account growth • Executing a consultative sales strategy with our internal solution selling methodology, with extensive sales methodology and product training provided • Handling technical and application sales questions from customers and providing prompt responses, including quotes, technical advice, and guidance • Populating and maintaining the highest standards of data integrity in Salesforce • Collecting and providing constructive feedback to management with the intent of driving continuous improvement of the inside sales process • Collaborating with other sellers to continue to improve inside sales prospecting processes • Engaging in department key performance indicators (KPIs) through visual management and countermeasures where appropriate • Interfacing with the Distribution Sales Team, Regional Sales Team, Technical Support, Business Unit, and Marketing, among other departments, to ensure sales are optimized • Contributing to creative promotional programs
• High School Diploma • Bachelor’s degree desirable but not required • 2 years of sales experience, progressive tele-sales experience selling products and services in a B2B environment • Proven ability at cross-selling and up-selling; demonstrated experience increasing revenue within existing accounts by broadening and deepening solution placement • Knowledge of the operation of water plants and or laboratories, water testing requirements and procedures, and water control regulations that apply to plants is helpful • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce • Bilingual (English-French) is preferred but not required
