📋 Description

• Design, deploy, and maintain Ceph clusters for large-scale production environments • Monitor and optimize cluster performance, capacity, and reliability • Apply best practices for data durability, replication, and recovery • Diagnose and troubleshoot large-scale storage issues • Manage lifecycle operations such as upgrades, capacity expansions, and migrations • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate Ceph with OpenStack and Kubernetes • Automate operational tasks to ensure efficient, repeatable processes • Participate in on-call rotations to support critical systems • Work directly with clients to resolve technical issues • Contribute to internal documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Ceph in production environments • Good understanding of distributed storage concepts and architecture • Proficient in Linux administration and basic networking • Experience with OpenStack storage backends such as Cinder, Glance, or Nova (strong asset) • Familiarity with Kubernetes persistent storage concepts (a plus) • Scripting experience with Python, Go, or other languages • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack • Ability to analyze performance issues and identify root causes • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Strong communication and collaboration skills
