📋 Description

• You will be working as part of a cross-functional team following agile practices to deliver Android apps to support our client's growth • You will be expected to follow best software practices, including testing, test automation, code reviews, refactoring, and coaching and guiding junior team members • You will be expected to work closely with the backend team and UI/UX designers to build an innovative application, determine if and how decisions affect our apps and investigate what opportunities they present with practical prototypes • Discuss and promote the implementation of new features • Listen to the customer and suggest feasible options • As a team, commit to goals, deadlines, and objectives • As a team, design and define system architectures and contribute to technical decisions • Communicating your needs clearly and responsibly • Continuously improve the code base • Actively identify blockers, boulders, time sinks and waste, and actively attempt to remove them

🎯 Requirements

• You have a proven track record in Android Engineering roles • Have good working experience with Kotlin and are up to date with language features • Strong experience developing consumer-facing high-performance Android applications • Good grasp of design patterns, SOLID & Clean code principles • Strong in software engineering, including design, architecture, test automation, and deployment automation • Well versed with Agile development using practices like pairing, continuous integration, test driven development, code reviews, automation testing • 5+ years of experience as a developer building applications, with 3+ years working on Android applications • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
