📋 Description

• Edit approximately 3–4 Instagram Reels per week • Edit talking-head videos into engaging short-form content • Incorporate relevant B-roll footage • Improve pacing, transitions, viewer engagement, captions, subtitles, and visual elements • Maintain a professional and consistent visual style aligned with a premium personal brand • Prepare videos in formats suitable for Instagram • Edit longer-form YouTube content approximately weekly or every two weeks as needed • Repurpose existing content where appropriate • Edit and clean audio recordings for courses, programs, and digital products • Remove unnecessary sections, pauses, mistakes, and background noise from audio • Prepare polished audio files for courses, programs, and other digital products • Repurpose existing video content into social media assets • Create simple carousels or other visual content when required and within the VA’s skill set • Organize and work efficiently with provided video, audio, and B-roll assets • Follow client-provided content references and creative direction • Deliver completed work by agreed deadlines and communicate potential issues proactively

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in professional video editing • Strong experience editing Instagram Reels • Experience with talking-head videos • Strong understanding of B-roll and how to incorporate it effectively • Experience creating polished short-form social media content • Experience with audio editing • Ability to edit content for courses, programs, and digital products • Strong attention to detail • Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, transitions, captions, and visual composition • Ability to follow creative direction and references • Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines • Strong organizational skills • CapCut experience preferred; candidates may alternatively use Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Audition, or other professional video/audio editing platforms • Portfolio demonstrating professional Instagram Reels, talking-head editing, effective B-roll integration, high-quality short-form editing, professional/premium visual style, and audio-editing experience • Ability to communicate clearly, respond appropriately to instructions, and proactively flag issues that may affect a deadline
