📋 Description

• You’ll lead a team that is blending the creative talents of graphic designers with the latest technologies to build a vast catalogue of design assets and templates that make great design attainable to all of Vista’s customers, whether they are designing their business cards, Instagram posts, or anything else. • This full-stack team uses modern technologies, including React, Node, and AWS, along with advanced proprietary technologies within Vista to create tools to build flexible design tools that can work across our product catalog. • You will be positioned to make a significant impact by working to rapidly evolve a core capability of Vista. • Cultivate a healthy engineering team by defining a team structure, setting clear expectations by defining roles and responsibilities, cascading strategic context, and cultivating a safe environment to be bold and innovative. • Drive efficient and effective execution and software delivery by managing delivery timelines, monitoring progress, addressing dependencies and roadblocks, and positively impacting KPIs. • Increase Vista’s talent density by attracting, growing, and retaining excellent engineers. • You will invest in your team members by creating development plans, proactively sharing feedback, and ensuring team members are receiving mentoring. • Strive for engineering excellence by leading your team to deliver reliable, performant, secure, robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions that use modern technologies and meet our customers’ needs, without unnecessary complexity. • Collaborate well with team members, product management and user experience partners, and peers across the engineering team to ensure we are accomplishing ambitious goals across the organization. • At VistaPrint, we are striving to hire individuals that add new ideas and perspectives to our teams and enhance our culture. • No matter your background or work experience, we strongly encourage you to apply—even if you feel that you don’t meet the exact requirements or have the same qualifications. 🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in engineering full-stack systems (React and Node js) • 2+ years of managing a team of engineers across distributed locations. • Ability to engage in technical discussions, guiding teams to make smart tradeoff decisions. • Exceptional coaching and mentorship skills • Consistent track record of being proactive, moving with purpose, and responding to problems efficiently. • Experience identifying risk and a strong ability to assess and address risk when needed • Strong project management skills with an ability to create and manage roadmaps, and improve team velocity • Excellent communication skills, both synchronous and asynchronous. • Nice to Have Experience with graphic design concepts and tools, including Adobe InDesign or Illustrator. • Experience with software products using React and Node
