📋 Description

• Join VL Test Systems Ltd (VLT) as a Field Service Engineer, servicing and supporting our equipment at customer sites across the UK • Troubleshoot breakdowns, carry out repairs, and proactively advise customers and the service team • Ensure high customer satisfaction by minimizing equipment downtime through effective service, calibration, and repair activities • Work closely with customers and internal teams, manage schedules and resources efficiently, and ensure all work is clearly documented and communicated • Support installations, train customers, uphold safety standards, and continuously develop your technical skills

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in engineering service, calibration, maintenance, or commissioning roles, ideally within the Commercial Vehicle sector • Strong numerical skills • Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal) • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • A motivated, dynamic, and professional attitude with a presentable appearance • Excellent time management and reliability • Ability to communicate confidently with both Directors and workshop staff • A clean driving licence (preferred) • Flexibility in working hours and a proactive mindset.
