📋 Description

• Lead the technical direction and architecture for your squad's domain • Drive design reviews, set coding standards, and ensure engineering excellence • Own the full delivery of complex, cross-team technical initiatives • Build, scale and operate Node.js/TypeScript backend services on AWS/EKS • Define the infrastructure and reliability strategy for your team's systems • Partner with Product and Data to translate business goals into technical roadmaps • Grow engineers through 1:1s, code reviews, mentorship and technical coaching • Identify systemic risks and drive improvements before they become incidents • Be an ambassador for engineering culture: psychological safety, pragmatism, and craft

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience • 2+ years of experience leading an engineering team (formal or informal) • Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript /Node.js • Good knowledge of industry best practices (SOLID, KISS, YAGNI, DDD, TDD...) • Proven ability to own and deliver large technical projects with cross-team dependencies • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Track record of growing engineers and building high-performing teams • Ability to balance speed-of-delivery with long-term technical health.
