📋 Description
• Play a critical role in safeguarding the organization’s IT infrastructure and sensitive data. • Monitor security systems, identify vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents. • Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen cybersecurity practices. • Develop secure protocols and protect the organization against emerging threats. • Provide guidance and training to employees on cybersecurity best practices.
🎯 Requirements
• Completed Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required. • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and threat analysis. • Experience with cybersecurity tools, such as SIEM platforms, firewalls, and vulnerability management tools. • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and cybersecurity frameworks applicable to Canada. • Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls is a strong asset. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams. • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or other relevant credentials are a plus. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
