📋 Description
• Support the design, modelling, and analysis of mechanical and thermal systems. • Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations using FEM tools for different load cases • Assist in interpreting simulation results and providing recommendations for design improvements. • Prepare technical documentation using Microsoft/Atlassian tools • Collaborate with systems engineers to validate designs for various mission scenarios. • Contribute to model improvements maintenance.
🎯 Requirements
• valid work permit for Germany or the EU • Holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a similar field. • Knowledge of structural mechanics and heat transfer in spacecraft • Familiarity with ANSYS, NASTRAN, or equivalent simulation software. • Basic understanding of materials science and structural vibration. • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. • Fluency in English, German is a plus
