📋 Description
• Key driver within Wayflyer’s Quantitative Risk Team. • Bridge the gap between complex statistical theory and tangible financial outcomes. • Lead strategic initiatives turning data into dollars. • Design and implement sophisticated modeling frameworks. • Develop data-driven credit policies and lending strategies. • Ensure model improvements are statistically significant. • Translate technical findings into actionable insights for leadership. • Set the standard for code quality within the team.
🎯 Requirements
• 4+ years in Data Science/ML, with a proven track record of building and maintaining production-grade ML systems. • Advanced knowledge of predictive modeling and credit risk concepts (e.g., IV, ROC AUC, SHAP). • Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL. • Ability to leverage AI and LLMs as accelerants for high-quality output. • Deep understanding of credit risk metrics (PD, EAD, LGD, EL). • Communication skills to persuade non-technical stakeholders.
