📋 Description

• Lead and develop a team of reconciliation professionals, providing mentorship, coaching, and career development opportunities. • Develop and implement strategic reconciliation framework across all treasury operations, including: Bank account reconciliations, General ledger account reconciliations, & Cash flow reconciliations. • Partner with senior leadership across Finance, Treasury, and Accounting to drive cross-functional initiatives and process improvements. • Own and deliver strategic transformation projects, including: Implementation of reconciliation platforms, Process re-engineering and optimization initiatives, & Building automated reconciliation infrastructure. • Establish and maintain robust internal controls framework and governance standards. • Ensure organizational compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. • Lead the reconciliation strategy for new product launches and feature expansions. • Drive continuous improvement culture through data-driven insights and process improvements. • Present reconciliation insights and recommendations to executive leadership. • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for reconciliation tools and services.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred • 8+ years of progressive experience in treasury reconciliations or financial operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams • Advanced proficiency with SQL and data analysis tools; Python or similar programming experience is preferred. • Extensive experience implementing and optimizing reconciliation platforms (BlackLine, Kyriba, Modern Treasury, or similar) • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks in Canadian financial services • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders • Strategic mindset with strong execution capabilities • Experience managing complex, enterprise-wide transformation projects • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
