📋 Description
• Manage a portfolio of more complex business tax clients within your relevant specialism, including reviewing tax returns, computations, and tax accounting disclosures • Signing out tax returns for more complex clients working independently from the director or partner • Pillar 2 compliance and advisory services • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact for all tax matters • Provide expert advice and guidance on a range of business tax issues, including corporate tax planning, restructuring, and compliance • Assist with tax investigations and disputes, liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients • Work closely with other departments within the firm, building your internal network • Assist with business development activities, including identifying opportunities to cross-sell services to existing clients and generating new business leads • Contribute to the development and improvement of our ways of working within the firm alongside other members of the manager group
🎯 Requirements
• Extensive experience delivering a robust tax compliance service to clients • Delivering ad hoc advisory work • An awesome advisor with a wider tax mindset, ensuring clients receive the tax support they need • Great communicator who excels at building strong and trusting relationships (internally and externally) • Experience of looking after a variety of clients i.e. large corporate groups / internationally owned / private equity backed • Passion for clients and their business, ensuring a “wow!” experience • Knack for removing jargon to increase client understanding
