📋 Description

• Manage the full accounting cycle including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and monthly close activities. • Prepare and maintain financial reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements to support strategic decision-making. • Oversee budgeting and forecasting while conducting detailed variance and trend analysis. • Handle accounts payable/receivable, vendor coordination, and expense reimbursements. • Develop and implement internal controls, accounting policies, and scalable financial processes tailored to a growing tech organization. • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial advisors to ensure compliance and accuracy. • Drive process automation and improve system efficiencies in financial reporting and data workflows. • Advise leadership on cost optimization, operational efficiency, and financial best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in accounting or controllership. • Professional certification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent is strongly preferred. • Experience working in tech, AI, or high-growth startup environments is highly desirable. • Strong understanding of GAAP or IFRS, reconciliations, and financial reporting standards. • Proficiency with cloud-based accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills. • Excellent analytical ability with the capacity to simplify complex financial insights. • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Comfort working independently and collaborating across distributed remote teams.
