📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will assist in promoting Weibermacht Cares' Wellness Day Program across social media platforms, community groups, and email marketing campaigns. • You will play a key role in raising awareness, engaging with audiences, and creating content that showcases the power of giving back. • Content Creation & Social Media Management: Assist in developing content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter, to promote the Wellness Day Program and other Weibermacht Cares initiatives. • Create eye-catching posts, infographics, videos, and stories that engage the audience and spread the message of our charitable programs. • Respond to comments and messages on social media to monitor and manage interactions and foster positive engagement with our online community. • Community Engagement: Assist in promoting the Wellness Day Program to diverse community groups, caregiver networks, veterans’ organizations, and local community organizations. • Research and identify opportunities to collaborate with influencers and community leaders to spread the word about Weibermacht Cares. • Participate in virtual and in-person events to help raise awareness and build community connections. • Email Marketing: Help develop email marketing campaigns highlighting the Wellness Day Program and other Weibermacht Cares initiatives. • Draft email content, create newsletters, and segment email lists to engage with current and potential partners, caregivers, and the broader community. • Track email marketing performance and assist in optimizing campaigns for better engagement. • Analytics & Reporting: Track social media and email marketing metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improving reach and engagement. • Monitor campaign performance and assist in developing reports on key metrics like engagement, follower growth, and audience interactions.

🎯 Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (or recent graduate). • Passion for social media marketing, community engagement, and charitable initiatives. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Creativity in developing engaging content and campaigns. • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter) and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark). • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and contribute to a mission-driven organization. • Knowledge or interest in the challenges faced by caregivers of Dementia/Alzheimer’s patients, veterans, or underserved communities is a plus.
