📋 Description

• Use transportation and aviation industry experience to blend security architecture expertise with strategic policy leadership • Act as bridge between technical cybersecurity teams and IT business leadership, influencing IT strategy through a security lens • Mentor and guide less experienced security architects • Guide projects and IT security designs to ensure robust and cybersecurity compliant solutions • Create, maintain and evolve reusable security architectural patterns aligned with global security standards • Develop and enforce security architecture policies and ensure security controls are integrated into technology solutions • Review and influence solution designs and implementation plans to meet enterprise policies and risk tolerance • Track emerging threats and technologies and translate strategic security principles into actionable architectural guidance • Lead assessments of enterprise-wide architecture to strengthen overall security posture • Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats, attack techniques, and regulatory developments to improve policies and standards • Participate in architecture and design reviews of critical IT and digital transformation projects • Collaborate with Risk Management, Governance and Compliance teams to define and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and control frameworks aligned to NIST CSF and ISO 27001

🎯 Requirements

• College degree or equivalalent exp. • Cybersecurity certifications I.e.: CISSP, CISM, Microsoft, Cisco, etc. • 10 years in cybersecurity • 5 years in security architecture & design • Align security programs & architectures with industry standards & frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO/IEC 27001) • Experience with compliance requirements (e.g., Payment Card Industry) • Design & secure hybrid IT environments (on-premises & cloud services) across multi-cloud (Azure/AWS) & on-prem systems • Exposure to highly regulated, safety-critical industries (e.g., aviation or transportation) • Expertise in cloud security architecture on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) • In-depth understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and controls (especially NIST CSF and ISO 27001) • Fluency in modern attacker Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and strong threat modelling skills • Skilled in conducting security architecture assessments and producing high-quality security reference architecture and design patterns • Familiarity with global compliance and data protection requirements & how to incorporate into security designs & recommendations • Minimal international travel
