📋 Description

• Establish and maintain client relationships to procure and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and delivery. • Lead delivery of permitting, compliance, remediation, construction, technical advice, planning, design, and construction-phase projects. • Interact frequently with clients, potential clients, owners, regulators, project staff, and regulatory agencies. • Support business development through proposals, project interviews, and marketing activities. • Manage and supervise projects using technical and administrative staff. • Lead and complete technical tasks, including possible emergency response opportunities. • Develop site investigation plans and evaluate remediation alternatives. • Review construction plans, related documentation, and regulatory reporting. • Select, coordinate, and manage subcontractors. • Perform cost estimating and manage project scope, schedule, and budget. • Prepare reports and coordinate with project staff, clients, and regulatory agencies. • Participate in delivery system improvement programs.

🎯 Requirements

• 15 to 20+ years of professional experience with an environmental/engineering consulting firm. • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or environmental engineering from an accredited program. • Experience working with railroad clients. • Strong commitment to safe work practices is mandatory. • Experience scoping, budgeting, and implementing complex permitting and compliance programs. • Familiarity with railroad regulatory programs across northeastern and midwestern states. • Ability to work independently and on large multidisciplinary teams. • Outstanding written and verbal skills. • Demonstrated leadership and ability to mentor and develop a project team. • OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour and Railway Worker safety training a plus.
