📋 Description

• Prepares for month and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and analytical review, utilizing accounting knowledge • Ensures the accuracy, completeness, and conformance of accounting transactions to departmental, organizational, and compliance policies and standards • Performs activities within a public company's internal control environment, in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, to maintain organizational compliance • Manages stakeholder requests, researching and responding to complex inquiries, and escalating as necessary • Applies strong accounting knowledge, acumen, and technical expertise • Collaborates with business partners to understand new activities and provide financial guidance • Supports internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations • Participates in special projects, including initiatives for process improvement • Undertakes additional tasks to contribute to the team's overall objectives and key results

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Business-related field • 2+ years of general accounting experience • An associate's degree in accounting with 3-6 years of significant progressive experience in accounting would be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree • CPA certified or equivalent • Public accounting experience • Strong understanding of general accounting principles and internal controls • Proficient in accounting software (Blackline, BNA, Coupa, Intacct, Workiva, or Workday experience preferred) • Advanced computer skills (Google and/or MS Office suites), including spreadsheet data analysis • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach, keen attention to detail, and critical thinking • Excellent communication (written, verbal, and listening) and collaborative skills for effective interaction with diverse personalities internally and externally • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet goals and targets • Self-motivated with a propensity for action, results, and continuous improvement
