📋 Description

• Participate in requirements reviews to provide timely and meaningful feedback. • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate automated testing activities. • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. • Apply software engineering best practices to design reusable, maintainable automation frameworks. • Translate manual test cases into automation scripts with accuracy and efficiency. • Lead by example in writing automation code and mentor teammates in Cypress and automation fundamentals. • Deliver workshops, code reviews, and training sessions to help engineers adopt and improve Cypress or other automation frameworks. • Execute test cases/automation scripts and document defects thoroughly. • Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure new requirements are testable and high quality. • Analyze current processes to identify improvement opportunities and advocate for best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building automated tests using Cypress or similar frameworks. • 4+ years of experience with JavaScript or TypeScript automation libraries. • Proven experience designing scalable test automation frameworks and teaching others to use them effectively. • Strong proficiency in building reusable automated test cases and suites for desktop and mobile SaaS products in an agile environment. • Experience testing REST-style APIs with automation tools. • Skilled at optimizing and refactoring test code for clarity and performance. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to train, mentor, and collaborate across teams. • Familiarity with work/ticket tracking tools such as Jira. • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment. • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
