📋 Description

• Serve as the connection between user needs and engineering output for WunderGraph’s developer-focused digital product platform • Own the complete design lifecycle for web and product interfaces, from discovery through delivery and post-launch iteration • Run user interviews and other research to shape features and inform UX strategy • Design and prototype user flows, interfaces, interactions, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs • Define and evolve the design system and component library across product and marketing • Partner with engineers on feasibility, quality, handoff, and technical decisions • Conduct surveys, usability testing, competitor analysis, and discovery workshops • Synthesize research into insights, personas, journey maps, opportunity areas, and UX success metrics • Maintain a searchable shared insight repository • Advocate for user needs in prioritization and roadmap discussions • Own WunderGraph’s web presence, including landing pages, visuals, campaign graphics, and interactive components • Shape the style guide and support brand storytelling with motion graphics and interactive elements • Mentor team members and share research and design expertise • Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and customer success; report to the VP of Product

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level experience in Product Design or UX/UI Design • Strong portfolio of shipped work • Proven experience planning and running generative and evaluative UX research • Proficiency in Figma, prototyping tools, and Adobe Creative Suite • Strong background in UX and interaction design, accessibility, responsive design, and usability • Experience contributing to or leading design systems and component libraries • Comfortable using data and research to inform and defend design decisions • Working knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus • Excellent communication, storytelling, and collaboration skills in English • Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and able to lead initiatives independently • Comfortable working 100% remotely in a distributed team • Willingness to travel occasionally for team retreats and workshops
