📋 Description

• Design and build full-stack systems integrating frontend and backend components • Develop scalable APIs and backend services in TypeScript, Kotlin, and Go • Deploy and operate services in AWS and other cloud providers • Own problems end-to-end from design through deployment and production support • Navigate ambiguity and help define development practices • Collaborate with AI researchers, security researchers, and backend engineers • Build reliable, high-quality products with robust backend systems • Make powerful AI capabilities accessible through scalable systems

🎯 Requirements

• Experience building and operating full-stack systems • Proficiency with TypeScript • Experience designing and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs • Strong backend development experience with Node.js, Kotlin, Go, or similar languages • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with incomplete information • Thoughtful communication with a focus on clarity and simplicity • Comfort working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment • Experience with event-driven architectures, message queues, or async workflows is a bonus • Experience with React/TypeScript frontends is a bonus • Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms is a bonus • Comfort with infrastructure as code such as Terraform or CDK is a bonus • Experience designing and optimizing relational databases, particularly Postgres, is a bonus • Background in systems programming, networking, or performance tuning is a bonus • Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises deployments is a bonus • Experience working in an early-stage startup is a bonus • Prior experience building security products or products for technical users is a bonus • Must be authorized to work in the applicable location • Visa sponsorship requirements must be disclosed
