📋 Description

• Build reliable data platforms and architectures in agile client projects • Design and implement modern data solutions — both on-premise and in the cloud — in close collaboration with clients and colleagues • Develop and operate scalable data pipelines and transform data to support business processes, analytics, and machine learning use cases • Integrate and orchestrate data from multiple systems, ensuring data quality, consistency, and availability • Work closely with software engineers and cloud architects in international, cross-functional teams — from concept to go-live • Support technical decision-making and contribute to the further development of our data engineering best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in data engineering and building modern data architectures • Strong understanding of data quality, data governance, data modeling, and data strategy — ideally with practical experience in client projects • Solid knowledge of Python, building data pipelines (ETL/ELT), and working with SQL/NoSQL databases or data warehouses • Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and basic DevOps concepts (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring) • Ideally familiar with SaaS data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake • Experience connecting data from various sources (APIs, databases, SaaS systems) and ensuring data quality • Analytical mindset, structured working style, and strong communication and consulting skills — especially in conveying technical topics to stakeholders • Very good German and English language skills
