📋 Description

• Own editorial strategy for all BlancVPN communications, including website, blog, Telegram, emails, in-app copy, ads, and support texts • Tie editorial strategy to brand and growth goals • Develop the Tone of Voice and ensure consistent application across every channel • Build an editorial system so quality does not depend on personal review of every line • Set editorial standards, guidelines, and playbooks for the company • Build, lead, and mentor the editorial team • Set tasks, provide feedback, and raise the level of writers and copywriters • Manage the blog and social content plan with measurable goals • Coordinate copy with marketing, product, and support teams • Understand the technical nuances of BlancVPN well enough to own VPN-related content • Track content performance and turn successful approaches into repeatable editorial standards

🎯 Requirements

• Fluent Russian and English (B2+) • 6+ years in editorial or content roles • 2+ years as an editor-in-chief or lead editor in a digital product • Proven experience building a working editorial system, team, editorial policy, or process that operates without constant involvement • Systems approach focused on processes, guides, and standards instead of micromanagement • Strong editing skills, including identifying weak copy, explaining weaknesses, and improving it • Fluency across landing pages, articles, posts, emails, in-app copy, and support replies • Experience owning brand voice and setting Tone of Voice standards across channels • People leadership experience, including hiring, onboarding, and developing writers • Strategic thinking connecting editorial decisions to brand and business goals • Comfort using content metrics such as engagement, SEO, and conversion data • Nice to have: experience with VPN, technology, or subscription products • Nice to have: SEO and content-distribution experience • Nice to have: experience managing freelancers, translators, or agencies • Nice to have: experience building or evolving a brand's Tone of Voice from scratch • Nice to have: experience running consistent bilingual Russian/English content at scale
