• Proactively prospect, source, and qualify new business opportunities with vendors, service providers, and potential collaborators • Develop and present sales pitches, proposals, and ROI analyses to potential collaborators • Lead negotiations and close deals that maximize financial outcomes for the organization • Manage ongoing vendor relationships with a sales account management approach • Collaborate across internal teams to design and launch benefit programs that align with strategic priorities and enhance the member experience • Gather and analyze member feedback to refine benefit offerings • Continuously assess market trends and competitor offerings • Monitor performance of collaborations, including revenue generation, member adoption, satisfaction, and demonstrated savings • Report regularly on outcomes
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, nonprofit management, or related field • 7+ years of experience in sales, strategic partnerships, business development, or non-dues revenue generation • 5+ years of proven track record of identifying, negotiating, securing, and managing revenue-generating collaborations or agreements • 3+ years of experience in data aggregation and analysis with a proven track record of effectively translating metrics into tangible solutions to drive increased results • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce to manage relationships, contracts, and track performance metrics • Strong financial acumen, including experience building revenue models, forecasts, and/or business cases • Prior success in designing and implementing go-to-market strategies for new programs or benefits • Ability to attend in-person work-related events, work on-site at the Arlington, VA office as needed, and travel occasionally nationwide
