📋 Description

• Design and ship LLM-powered product features end to end • Pair with product-vertical engineers to unblock AI feature work • Turn repeated AI implementation work into reusable tools, examples, documentation, and lightweight practices • Build and extend evaluation discipline for quality measuring and regression catching • Improve observability for AI workflows • Harden AI features for production reliability • Handle PHI and sensitive resident data with care • Partner with product managers to translate clinical workflows into AI capabilities • Help non-engineers experiment safely with real data

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production software • Strong in production TypeScript, including typed Node services, testing, APIs, and clean data modeling • Hands-on applied-LLM experience: prompt design, structured output, tool or agent design, and practical reasoning about cost, latency, hallucination, and reliability tradeoffs • Ability to explain code functionality • Comfortable working with sensitive data • Clear communication skills with PMs, clinicians, operators, and engineers • High agency and low ego, capable of shaping ambiguous problems
