📋 Description

• Provide expert technical support for Hitachi Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) and Mini Splits systems ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction • Deliver high-quality technical support for Hitachi VRF systems via phone, email, and remote diagnostics • Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues and provide effective solutions to customers and field technicians • Analyze system performance data and recommend improvements for energy efficiency and system longevity • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and best practices • Collaborate with the engineering team to address recurring issues and contribute to product improvements • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in VRF technology and HVAC industry trends • Assist in the development of technical content for customer-facing materials and knowledge bases • Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for critical customer issues

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC technical support, with a strong preference for VRF system experience • In-depth knowledge of Hitachi VRF systems and their components • EPA certification required; Hitachi VRF certification strongly preferred • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail • Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic tools and software • Strong technical writing skills for creating clear and concise documentation • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences • Experience with building automation and controls systems • Knowledge of energy efficiency principles in HVAC applications • Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotations as needed • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
