📋 Description

• Lead development of backend systems that power the core Active Grid Response platform • Design and scale services that handle complex workflows • Integrate data from thousands of devices • Ensure reliability of growing systems • Deliver scalable services that directly impact grid monitoring, maintenance, and fault mitigation

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in product-driven companies • Ability to thrive in a low-structure, high-autonomy environment with competing priorities • Experience building products end-to-end with broad ownership • Strong expertise in modern backend languages and relational databases (e.g., Python, PostgreSQL) • Experience designing and scaling distributed systems or data-intensive applications • Familiarity with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Mimir • Background working in hardware/software contexts or other operationally complex environments
