Descrição

• Ensure equitable settlement of damages while maintaining customer service and shop relations • Inspect and evaluate vehicle damage in the field or virtually for first- and third-party claims • Complete detailed damage summaries and repair cost estimates • Present estimates, negotiate with repair facilities, and reach agreed-upon prices • Research actual cash values of vehicles and parts for total-loss settlements • Photograph vehicles and damage and submit reports and documentation • Perform re-inspections and authorize supplemental repairs as needed • Communicate with clients throughout the repair process and respond to inquiries • Stay current on vehicle and parts values, industry changes, and company policies • Adjudicate claims according to company standards, regulations, and best practices • Produce correspondence, reports, and claim-file documentation • Write appraisals using licensed software • Assist with onboarding and assimilation of new team members • Perform other duties as necessary

🎯 Requisitos

• Five plus years’ experience in the Property and Casualty insurance industry • Five plus years of auto vehicle estimating, vehicle damage claims, repairs, and total losses, including complex repairs • Clear understanding of insurance industry practices, standards, and terminology • College degree preferred • Must pass a background check • Anticipated goal of acquiring and maintaining a current Independent Adjuster License with the Department of Insurance • Disciplined approach to job-related activities • Personal organization, sound decision-making, and analytical skills • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills • Ability to develop excellent working relationships with staff, clients, and shops • Effective, friendly communication skills • Ability to work cohesively with company partners and staff • Professional representation of the company • Ability to consistently provide excellent client service • Ability to work in a paperless, highly technical environment • Ability to meet vision and physical requirements, including close-range work, typing, repetitive small-motor activity, grasping, stooping, reaching, standing, lifting objects under 10 pounds, and occasional climbing • Travel may be required • May be required to work mandatory overtime
