Descrição

• Maximize store sales through excellent customer service, product availability, merchandising, and exceptional store image • Provide store management with recaps of promotional activity, business opportunities, results, trends, and competitive information • Manage controllable costs, including merchandise variation, salaries, overtime, cash, repair, and maintenance costs • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotions and new product introductions • Provide feedback to category managers regarding stock issues • Partner with vendors to ensure product availability and timely execution of monthly promotions • Ensure vendor performance and behavior are professional • Manage store profitability through cash and merchandise variation, salaries, and other controllable P&L expenses • Enforce company policies, procedures, government regulations, and restricted sales policies • Maintain a safe and secure working environment and provide safety communication and training • Forecast financial requirements, prepare annual budgets, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions • Lead and direct Store Managers, including recruiting, selection, orientation, employee development, training, performance monitoring, and appraisal • Establish job expectations and coach managers on action plans for issue resolution • Administer counseling notices and initiate corrective actions • Apply non-discriminatory management practices when hiring, training, counseling, motivating, and separating employees • Adhere to the Company Operating Policy of Legal, Ethical, and Moral practices • Enhance professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, professional publications, personal networks, and professional societies • Contribute to team effort by achieving Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company plan guidelines

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred; other combinations of job-related experience and education that meet the requirements may be substituted • Three to five years of retail business experience or more preferred, including a minimum of two years of management responsibility • Demonstrated leadership ability • Good communication skills • Self-directed, self-motivated, and customer service oriented • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English • Ability to supervise and train Store Managers in the use of store equipment, tools, and materials • Ability to supervise and manage the functions listed in the Store Manager job description • Expertise with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word preferred • Current valid driver’s license required to operate a company vehicle • Valid driver’s license required • Ability to sit, talk, and/or hear; handle or grasp items of varying weight; stand, walk, and reach with both hands and arms • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level, up to 30 minutes per workday • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead, up to 30 minutes per workday • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds from ground to waist level, up to 30 minutes per workday • Ability to push and pull with arms using up to 20 pounds of force • Ability to climb a ladder to store or retrieve materials and place or replace signage • Ability to travel by car 50% of the time
