Descrição

• Serve as the owner's representative for assigned K-12 projects, overseeing scope, schedule, and budget from pre-construction through closeout • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cash flow projections • Administer contracts, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve design questions and preserve design intent • Partner with the on-site Construction Manager to align field activity with the overall project plan • Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to district stakeholders, facilities staff, and the Program Manager • Support procurement and bidding processes, including scope development, bid review, and contractor qualification • Ensure compliance with public bidding requirements, prevailing wage, and district procurement policies • Coordinate project phasing and sequencing around the school calendar • Manage project-level risk identification and mitigation planning • Track and manage project closeout, including punch lists, as-builts, warranties, and final documentation • Prepare and present project status reports and updates

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred • 5+ years of project management experience in construction • K-12 or public education project experience preferred • Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, and cost/budget management • Familiarity with public bidding, prevailing wage, and school construction requirements is a plus • Proficiency with project management and scheduling software such as Procore, Primavera P6, or MS Project • Strong written and verbal communication skills coordinating owners, designers, and contractors • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills • Excellent interpersonal/soft skills • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications • PMP certification is a plus • Ability to attend occasional evening meetings • Willingness to travel regularly between school sites; some overnight stays may be required • Valid driver's license required
