Descrição

• Drive day-to-day sourcing and procurement across ingredients, packaging, and branded merchandise • Support supplier qualification, material compliance, cost management, risk mitigation, and sourcing for new product development • Source and manage primary and secondary packaging, coordinating specifications, artwork revisions, testing, approvals, costs, and launch timelines • Source branded merchandise, promotional products, gift sets, and retail display materials while managing vendors, samples, approvals, timelines, and budgets • Manage purchasing from buy planning through purchase-order closeout, balancing production requirements, MOQs, lead times, pricing, inventory, and cash considerations • Maintain supplier relationships, commercial records, supplier-performance visibility, risks, pricing, and contractual commitments • Partner with Quality to maintain supplier documentation, including COAs, specifications, certifications, compliance requirements, and approved supplier records • Manage quality and sourcing risks, deviations, corrective actions, single-source risks, and backup supplier options • Maintain cost trackers, monitor price changes, run RFQs, compare supplier quotes, quantify savings opportunities, and execute approved cost-saving initiatives • Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms • Evaluate total landed costs with Finance, including freight, duties, tariffs, and other cost drivers • Manage purchase orders from creation and acknowledgment through revisions, shipment, reconciliation, receipt, and closeout • Translate demand and production plans into purchasing decisions accounting for MOQs, lead times, tiered pricing, inventory levels, and cash needs • Coordinate supplier onboarding, including W-9s, banking information, credit applications, COIs, vendor setup, and item master setup • Maintain vendor master, item cost, PO, and invoice accuracy • Coordinate deposits, milestone payments, payment terms, AP timing, and 3-way match exceptions with Finance • Track inbound orders and required supplier and freight documentation, including confirmed, late, and at-risk orders • Maintain supplier records, pricing and contract terms, scorecards, KPIs, renewal dates, volume commitments, and continuous improvement initiatives • Report to the Supply Chain Manager and collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Marketing, and Retail

🎯 Requisitos

• 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or a related operations role • Food, beverage, or supplement experience is a plus • Hands-on experience purchasing materials and working directly with suppliers, including international or overseas vendors • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including lookups and pivot tables, and ability to build cost comparisons from raw supplier quotes • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage dozens of open items and competing priorities • Strong written communication skills and comfort managing supplier relationships primarily through email and across multiple time zones • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where processes may still be evolving or being built • Willing and able to learn specifications, COAs, Incoterms, duties, and cGMP fundamentals • Familiarity with 3-way match processes and AP coordination • Working knowledge of California Proposition 65 requirements and their implications for sourcing, supplier compliance, documentation, and labeling • Proactive approach to supplier, cost, quality, and inventory challenges • Experience sourcing functional ingredients or nutraceuticals is nice to have • Experience with suppliers in China, India, or Southeast Asia is nice to have • ERP or inventory management system experience is nice to have • Familiarity with Incoterms, international freight, customs, and landed-cost considerations is nice to have • Experience supporting sourcing or procurement within a high-growth consumer brand is nice to have
