Descrição

• Provide engineering services to mining clients as part of the Mining Team • Participate in hydrotechnical projects, including site investigations, studies, and detailed engineering for multidisciplinary projects • Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications, data sheets, and reports • Complete engineering calculations and models for seepage and stability, pipe and drainage ditch design, hydrology and hydraulics, erosion, settling of solids, alternative cover demonstrations, geochemistry, and statistics • Assist engineers and EITs with project scope, cost, and schedule requirements • Prepare technical specifications based on input from other disciplines • Plan and execute field exploration programs, including soil boring and test pit logging, well installation, development, and sampling • Provide input to engineering, operating, and capital cost estimates • Review and evaluate technical work prepared by junior and intermediate engineers, designers, technicians, and technologists • Perform and document construction observation and construction quality assurance testing for geosynthetics or earthworks • Prepare interpretive reports supporting engineering design and construction documents • Develop grading plans and designs in AutoCAD Civil 3D • Assist with reports, cost estimating, specifications, and permit documents • Report to the Vice President, Central Canada Mining, under the leadership of the Director of Engineering

🎯 Requisitos

• Professional Engineer license in Ontario, Manitoba, and/or Newfoundland/Labrador • Minimum 10+ years project engineering experience • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Water Resources, Geological, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering or a similar engineering discipline • Willingness to work within various industries and market sectors • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Organizational and time management skills • Demonstrated leadership ability • Flexibility to travel for extended assignments and on short notice • Strong work ethic • Working knowledge of computers and engineering software • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel • Organized, self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented • Sound understanding of design engineering codes and technical standards • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
