Descrição

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team, including hiring, performance management, career development, and technical mentorship • Set technical direction and help define the team roadmap • Translate ambiguous product and customer needs into clear engineering priorities and measurable outcomes • Guide architecture and review critical design decisions • Help build scalable, reliable, secure production systems • Partner with Product, Design, Data Science, customer-facing teams, and engineering leadership on complex initiatives from idea through production • Use AI-native development tools and workflows to increase engineering velocity while maintaining standards for correctness, security, reliability, and production readiness

🎯 Requisitos

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including meaningful experience building and operating production software systems • 2+ years of experience managing or technically leading engineers • Track record of hiring, developing, and retaining strong engineering talent • Strong technical depth in distributed systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, or modern web application development • Ability to engage deeply in architectural and technical decisions • Ability to lead large, ambiguous technical initiatives from strategy and architecture through execution and production • Experience operating effectively in fast-paced, high-growth environments • Strong cross-functional communication skills and ability to create alignment across Engineering, Product, Data Science, and other stakeholders • Experience building AI-powered or AI-native products, particularly systems involving LLMs, agentic workflows, or intelligent automation (bonus) • Experience using AI coding tools to accelerate software development while reviewing and validating generated code (bonus) • Experience in an early-stage startup or as an early engineering hire (bonus) • Experience in insurance, fintech, enterprise SaaS, or other complex, highly regulated domains (bonus)
