Descrição

• Lead and mentor a small, distributed Agile development team while remaining hands-on with architecture, design, development, code reviews, and troubleshooting • Serve as a technical point of contact between the development team, program leadership, and customer • Translate customer and user requirements into technical specifications, architectural approaches, and implementation plans • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs, and relational databases • Provide technical leadership for AWS-deployed applications across architecture, containers, networking, security, databases, observability, scalability, and resiliency • Build, deploy, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Amazon ECS • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform/OpenTofu and automated CI/CD pipelines • Design and maintain relational data solutions using PostgreSQL and/or Oracle with Hibernate/JPA and MyBatis • Apply microservices, asynchronous processing, caching, automated testing, and secure software development patterns • Support observability and production troubleshooting using OpenTelemetry, AWS X-Ray, Prometheus, and CloudWatch • Improve application performance, security, maintainability, and architecture • Support workload and capacity planning, technical mentoring, performance feedback, and professional development

🎯 Requisitos

• Current AWS Certified Developer - Associate, Solutions Architect - Associate, or higher-level AWS certification • 8+ years of professional software development experience • 2+ years of technical leadership experience • Strong hands-on Java and Spring/Spring Boot development experience • Experience with Angular/TypeScript; Angular 17+ preferred • Experience designing REST APIs and microservice-based applications • 4+ years of hands-on AWS experience with production workloads • Strong understanding of AWS architecture and core services, including ECS/ECR, VPC/networking, IAM, load balancing, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, Route 53, and Secrets Management • Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, resiliency, high availability, and observability • Experience with Docker, Terraform/OpenTofu, Git, and CI/CD pipelines • Experience with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle, SQL, Hibernate/JPA, or MyBatis • Experience with automated testing, code quality, security scanning, and DevSecOps practices • Experience with application monitoring, logging, metrics, and distributed tracing • Ability to lead and mentor a geographically distributed, 100% remote development team • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • Ability to translate business and user requirements into technical solutions • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience with people-management or team-lead responsibilities • Ability to prioritize work, identify technical risks, and drive engineering best practices • US Citizenship or Green Card required with 2 years of continuous residency in the US; no sponsorship available • East Coast hours availability • Public Trust clearance
