Descrição

• Design, develop, test, and support Java-based, cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform • Build and enhance cloud solutions supporting data ingestion, processing, storage, retrieval, and distribution • Design and maintain reliable, performant cloud-based solutions • Develop and maintain REST APIs, including versioning, documentation, backward compatibility, and system integration • Integrate approved AI services or models into applications • Contribute to AI feature evaluation and monitoring for quality and responsible use • Troubleshoot application issues across environments and perform root-cause analysis • Implement preventative fixes to reduce recurring incidents • Apply secure coding practices and meet security and compliance requirements • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation with DevOps • Implement observability practices, including structured logging, metrics, dashboards, alerts, and runbooks • Collaborate with engineering, QA, DevOps, product, and security partners on releases, testing, and production issues • Participate in architecture and design discussions and code reviews • Promote team standards and mentor junior developers through guidance and example

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited College/University, or an additional four years of relevant work experience in lieu of a relevant four-year degree • 3+ years’ experience developing backend applications or services in Java • Hands-on experience working with cloud services and deploying applications on GCP, or equivalent cloud experience with the ability to ramp quickly • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, including common authentication/authorization approaches and integration patterns • Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications and familiarity with basic evaluation/monitoring concepts • Practical knowledge of secure engineering fundamentals, including least privilege access, secrets management, encryption, and audit logging • Proficiency with Git-based workflows and working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and release practices • Strong troubleshooting skills, including defect triage, performance tuning, and supporting applications with observability tools • Strong collaboration and communication skills across engineering, QA, DevOps, product, and security stakeholders • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust • Willingness/ability to provide onsite fingerprinting at a designated facility • U.S. residency for the required period under the USPS security clearance process • No U.S. citizenship requirement • Preferred: experience with Agile teams and SDLC practices • Preferred: familiarity with VersionOne, ServiceNow, and/or ALM practices • Preferred: container/serverless concepts, such as Docker or Kubernetes fundamentals • Preferred: production support rotations and post-incident analysis • Less than 10% travel
