Descrição

• Serve as a subject matter expert in wind turbine installation, mechanical and electrical installation practices, technical issue resolution, and installation red flag review programs • Provide technical installation leadership and support for new unit and Repower projects • Support installation across the full fleet by guiding Installation Leads, Site Managers, and Project Managers • Support active projects during weekends and holidays as needed • Oversee end-to-end generator rebuild processes in the field • Coordinate contractor crews, labor allocation, project logistics, equipment mobilization, and component transport • Manage requisitions for contractors, heavy equipment, and external generator services • Create parts lists and ensure long-lead items are ordered 6–12 months in advance • Ensure project documentation is complete and accurate, including asset tracking, GE ID tagging, rebuild records, and electrical testing records in systems such as Box and iAuditor • Update technical documentation and iAuditor workflows to standardize processes • Ensure shop environments comply with safety protocols • Manage multiple concurrent projects, maintaining 24/7 operational readiness where required • Maintain consistent installation training practices across field teams • Mentor and train Installation Leads and installation technicians • Support updates to technical training materials and programs • Share installation processes and best practices and drive lessons learned • Support implementation of digitally enabled technicians • Troubleshoot hub, pitch, and yaw systems during single blade installation • Support setup, operation, and troubleshooting of Single Blade Installation tooling • Drive lean, EHS, safety, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives • Consult with new product installation, engineering, and tooling engineering teams • Develop and revise technical installation documentation • Organize and chair Pre-Installation Meetings • Drive submission and resolution of installation ServiceNow cases • Review unit bills of materials for complex configuration projects • Review project installation document folders and support installation cost-out activities

🎯 Requisitos

• High school Diploma or GED • 6 years of experience in new construction wind projects involving installation/commissioning • 3 years of experience in a functional leadership role • Advanced knowledge of wind turbine installation practices, including mechanical and electrical scopes • Strong field experience supporting new unit and Repower installation projects • Ability to lead training, mentor field leaders, and drive standardization across teams or projects • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, project management, quality, and field operations teams • Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills • Commitment to safe work practices and operational excellence • Ability to climb wind turbines at heights of 80–120 meters • Ability to conduct single-person lifts of up to 45 lbs • Must maintain Qualified Electrical Worker status under GE Vernova safety standards • Troubleshooting must follow business and EHS policies • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
