Descrição

• Own application of Decision Intelligence and agentic AI across the NBA platform • Analyze and formalize business decisions driving member engagement • Translate objectives, constraints, policies, and data into structured decision models • Determine where rules, predictive models, reinforcement learning, optimization, or agentic systems provide value • Design and build production-grade decision intelligence capabilities • Design and implement production agent workflows using LangGraph and LangChain • Build AI-powered Action Library capabilities for creating, refining, validating, governing, and optimizing member actions • Integrate Azure OpenAI and enterprise models through Humana's AI Gateway • Design retrieval-augmented architectures using vector search, semantic retrieval, and knowledge grounding • Operationalize reinforcement learning and decision optimization models within NBA workflows • Build evaluation frameworks for recommendation quality, agent effectiveness, adoption, business outcomes, and operational performance • Implement AI governance, safety guardrails, observability, traceability, policy controls, human review, and auditability • Lead and mentor AI engineers and drive the Decision Intelligence workstream • Architect and operate highly available, low-latency, horizontally scalable microservices • Design versioned APIs, database schemas, catalogs, lifecycle management, rule bindings, and metadata relationships • Integrate rules engines such as Drools, IBM ODM, DMN services, or OPA/Rego • Ensure deterministic, versioned, stateless rule execution without unintended side effects • Use AI tools to generate and refactor schemas and service logic, author and validate rules, detect conflicts, produce tests, and explore edge cases • Develop automated tests for migrations, schemas, API contracts, rules, precedence, and edge cases • Ensure observability, structured logging, metrics, alerting, error handling, fallback strategies, and incident management • Support audit and compliance through traceable, reproducible system behavior • Collaborate with platform, data, machine learning, product, business, decision science, and engineering teams • Participate in architecture and design reviews and mentor junior engineers

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field • 6+ years of software engineering, machine learning engineering, AI engineering, or decision intelligence experience, including at least 1–2 years in a technical leadership capacity • 8 or more years of progressive IT experience as a senior developer in large IT projects • 2 or more years of project leadership experience • Strong Python engineering experience building and operating production AI systems • Hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar orchestration frameworks • Experience integrating Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Vertex AI, Anthropic, OpenAI, or comparable enterprise AI platforms • Strong understanding of Decision Intelligence concepts, including decision modeling, optimization, decision automation, objectives, constraints, and outcome measurement • Experience with tool calling, structured outputs, retrieval-augmented generation, memory management, and workflow orchestration • Experience building AI evaluation frameworks, automated evaluation, human review, performance measurement, and experimentation • Ability to map business processes into formal decision frameworks • Demonstrated ability to lead a small engineering team while remaining hands-on • Strong communication skills for explaining complex AI and decision architectures to senior leadership • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences • Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions • Ability to work typical Monday–Friday business hours, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week • Occasional travel to Humana offices may be required • Ability to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
