Descrição

• Teach graduate courses within the assigned programmatic core discipline • Engage students, provide excellent feedback, and inspire achievement of course and program outcomes • Develop and pursue a proposal for professional scholarship and growth • Collaborate with faculty, the Associate Director of Faculty Support and Development, Department Chair, and Dean • Promote scholarship, teaching, service, and practice • Use the NU One-to-One apprenticeship-style teaching model and Teaching through Engagement • Participate in research, scholarship, professional service, and relevant professional practice • Teach master’s and/or doctoral courses in Marriage and Family Sciences • Participate in initial and ongoing training • Trial and integrate new technologies into teaching • Participate in postdoctoral networking meetings • Maintain student contact by phone, video conferencing, and email • Collaborate with Academic and Finance Advisors to support student engagement and success • Exercise academic freedom in accordance with University policies, procedures, and curricula • Participate in program and student assessment procedures • Provide educational services in compliance with university policies, FERPA, the Code of Conduct, and applicable laws • Complete tasks and projects assigned by the Dean or NU administrators

🎯 Requisitos

• Doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution required • Academic qualifications aligned with the mission and offerings of the Department of Marriage and Family Sciences • Experience teaching, working with, and mentoring diverse students strongly preferred • Experience in graduate-level coursework and clinical training preferred • Proficiency in technology for education delivery and online teaching experience preferred • Curriculum development experience preferred • Experience working in a technology-driven enterprise preferred • Professional identity as a couple/marriage and family therapist • Graduation from a COAMFTE-accredited program strongly preferred • AAMFT Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor desirable • Cover letter required • Curriculum vitae required • Statement of online and/or onsite teaching experience for a diverse student body required
