Descrição

• Process, rate where applicable, and release client shipments in a timely manner according to operating procedures and service standards • Create customs entries by reviewing shipment documentation, selecting client records, vendors, keywords, and HS codes • Enter shipment information for release, rating, and billing, ensuring mandatory fields are accurate and complete • Determine correct value for duty and tariff treatment from invoice details and terms of sale • Request missing documentation, information, or instructions from Release Import Analysts, clients, or client service teams • Verify release-condition, compliance, rating, and free-trade-certificate documentation • Follow SOPs, ESPs, business rules, and special client instructions; recommend updates to outdated procedures • Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance client service • Research and respond professionally to Call Center information requests by phone or email where applicable • Prioritize work according to client and customs requirements and escalate release issues as needed • Update, approve, and release billing information; assist with billing and ASR data entry where required • Participate in day-to-day Release Operations and use available system automation tools • Perform other related duties assigned by management and adhere to established policies and procedures

🎯 Requisitos

• No experience required • High School/GED or equivalent required • Associates Degree or post-secondary education preferred • Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills • Client-service orientation and interpersonal skills with internal and external clients and coworkers • Ability to handle large volumes and meet tight deadlines • Strong attention to detail, organization, completeness, and accuracy • Good analytical and problem-solving ability • Ability to make decisions and recommendations within authorized limitations • Excellent time-management skills • Ability to present a professional image • Knowledge of Word and Excel • Working toward or successful completion of the Certified Customs Specialists (CCS) designation with CSCB or NCBFAA is required if not already obtained • Successful completion of the CCS examination is mandatory for further advancement
