Descrição

• Maintain sanitation standards in commercial kitchen, storeroom, dining, and serving areas at remote camp locations • Assist cooks and coordinate activities within a food service area • Prepare food and cook vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, and meats • Maintain product levels in preparation, serving, and storage areas • Stock food service areas with products and materials • Clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, kitchen, dining, storage areas, equipment, and floors • Perform periodically scheduled large cleaning projects • Remove garbage from assigned areas • Set up, break down, and clean tables, snack bars, display cases, and serving lines • Notify the supervisor when safety and sanitation standards are not being met • Perform other duties pertinent to the department or unit’s success

🎯 Requisitos

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent • At least one year of work experience in a commercial kitchen or documented vocational training demonstrating knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment, restaurant food preparation, and general commercial cleaning processes • Must have or obtain an Alaska Food Workers Card and/or ServSafe Certification upon hire • Must pass pre-employment requirements, including possible drug test, physical and fit-for-duty assessment, and hearing test • Must cooperate and work as part of a team with employees, customers, and clients • Must make decisions in the moment with little to no supervision • Must be able to stand for 12 hours per shift during the scheduled rotation • Must be able to live in dormitory-style settings and meet remote-camp cleanliness requirements • Must speak, understand, read, and write English • Must adhere to company and client safety guidelines and regulations • Must be able to travel by plane and/or bus to remote camps • Must meet specified fit-for-duty lifting, stair-climbing, kneeling, squatting, and carrying requirements
