Descrição

• Provide safe, comprehensive care to critically ill and/or injured patients of all ages in pre-hospital and inter-facility transport settings • Perform specialized functions and complex assessments, diagnoses, therapies, and emergency treatment during rotor-wing, fixed-wing, and ground transport • Document assessment and treatment information during stabilization and transport • Document complete billing information for patient transports • Maintain timely communication with management, internal customers, and external customers • Participate in PR and marketing activities • Maintain flight paramedic knowledge through meetings, chart reviews, equipment reviews, skill labs, clinical rotations, and continuing education • Complete annual recurrent competency requirements • Function clinically under the program Medical Director's licensure • Perform within local Department of Health Services regulations and scope of practice

🎯 Requisitos

• Active paramedic certification in the state employed • Minimum of three years of current Paramedic field experience in a busy 911/pre-hospital service • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, and PHTLS/ITLS certifications • NRP preferred • Instructor certifications preferred • FP-C required within twenty-four months of hire • Flight or transport experience preferred • Successful completion of the PHI Air Medical Group education/orientation program • Effective human relations skills for interfacing with personnel and external customers • Basic computer skills for email and electronic charting • Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, including functional capacity exam, drug screening, and background screening • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds • Body weight below 235 lbs • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
