Descrição

• Perform specialized functions and complex assessments, diagnoses, therapies, and emergency treatment for patients transported by rotor-wing, fixed-wing, and/or ground transport • Document accurate assessment and treatment information during stabilization and transport • Document complete billing information for patient transports • Maintain timely communication between management and internal and external customers • Participate in PR and marketing support activities • Maintain flight paramedic knowledge through meetings, chart reviews, equipment reviews, skill labs, clinical rotations, and continuing education • Complete annual recurrent competency requirements • Maintain active paramedic and other required certifications • Function clinically under the program Medical Director’s licensure • Report indirectly to the Manager of Clinical Services and National Director of Clinical Standards • Perform within local Department of Health Services regulations and scope of practice

🎯 Requisitos

• Active paramedic certification in the state employed • Minimum three years of current Paramedic field experience in a busy 911/pre-hospital service; five years preferred • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, and PHTLS/ITLS certifications • NRP preferred • Instructor certifications preferred • FP-C certification within twenty-four months of hire • Flight or transport experience preferred • Successfully complete the PHI Air Medical Group education/orientation program • Effective human relations skills for interfacing with all levels of personnel and external customers • Basic computer skills for email and electronic charting • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred • Pass pre-placement physical exam, including functional capacity exam with strength and flexibility assessment and lifting up to 100 pounds • Pass drug screening and background screening • Maintain body weight below 235 lbs • Travel to Albuquerque, New Mexico • Work within local Department of Health Services regulations and scope of practice
