Descrição

• Lead the technical vision and delivery of high-performance APIs and end-user experiences using Ruby on Rails and React for patient and provider applications • Contribute to evolving software development and testing standards to improve technical excellence across the team • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to create high-impact features while balancing user experience with code complexity • Deliver performant web experiences for patients and providers throughout virtual visits • Architect robust, scalable backend services that power frontend applications • Participate in on-call rotation to support platform reliability outside standard working hours • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor's degree in IT, MIS, CS or equivalent, or similar experience • 7+ years of building and shipping scalable web applications across the full software stack • Experience with React, TypeScript, and modern UI patterns, focused on web performance and responsiveness • Strong professional experience building backend systems and designing clean GraphQL/REST APIs • Experience establishing efficient data-fetching models • Proficiency writing SQL for relational databases, especially PostgreSQL • Hands-on experience with automated testing at all layers, including RSpec, React Testing Library, Cypress, and Playwright • Proficiency with modern deployment pipelines, CI/CD, and GitHub Actions • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an iterative Agile environment with minimal direction • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, including articulating complex technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation • Commitment to data security, privacy, and ethical technology practices • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent and ongoing future basis without requiring sponsorship • Preferred: experience leading complex projects, driving architectural choices, and aligning cross-functional teams • Preferred: modern Ruby on Rails and advanced JavaScript ecosystems • Preferred: large-scale frontend design decisions or configuring build tooling from scratch • Preferred: AI-assisted coding tools such as Copilot, Gemini, or Claude • Preferred: healthcare experience and integrations in the broader US health system
