Descrição

• Serve as a subject matter expert on R1 benefit programs and insurance plans, including health, life, disability, retirement savings, wellbeing, voluntary plans, and spending accounts • Manage the compliance calendar and coordinate timely completion of annual activities • Develop benefits and wellness communications and educational materials with the Communications team • Explain benefit programs and occasionally present to Associates • Resolve complex, non-routine benefits issues • Provide project management support for benefit-related projects • Monitor regulatory and legal updates, assess implications for R1, and develop compliance recommendations • Work with third-party vendors and internal IT teams on system requirements, compatibility, functionality, and accurate electronic files • Troubleshoot integration issues and oversee enhancements or changes to maintain data integrity and accurate plan administration • Own Workday benefits configuration, vendor integrations, and new program implementations with HR Technical team support • Improve the benefits-related new Associate onboarding experience • Audit benefit enrollment records against carrier records and coordinate discrepancy resolution • Audit invoices and payroll benefit deductions for accuracy and coordinate corrections • Respond to Associate benefits inquiries accurately, timely, and professionally • Collaborate with consultants, vendors, and third-party administrators to evaluate programs and utilization and propose changes • Assist with focus groups and Associate surveys • Coordinate Open Enrollment, communications, plan renewals, documentation, carrier integration changes, enrollment workflow testing, and reporting • Prepare reports and conduct analysis for decision-making, audits, benefits administration issues, and ad hoc requests • Identify efficiency and process improvement opportunities • Investigate root causes and develop solutions to prevent recurrence

🎯 Requisitos

• Minimum of 4 years of experience, including at least 2 years specifically related to the role's responsibilities • Prior experience and basic working knowledge of Workday, including payroll deductions and integrations; basic reporting preferred • Experience with benefits administration services and systems preferred • Experience conducting benefit presentations, benefit fairs, or Associate onboarding sessions virtually • Bachelor's degree; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree • Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) preferred • Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data manipulation • Basic working knowledge of group insurance plan processing and administration for self-insured and fully insured designs • Experience overseeing HRIS system configuration, interfaces, implementations, and change management for HRIS systems and/or new benefit programs • Ability to coordinate with IT/Technical, internal, and vendor teams • Ability to handle sensitive healthcare and confidential information discreetly and in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory or policy requirements • Ability to learn quickly and apply complex rules, procedures, regulations, and guidelines • Benefits compliance knowledge • Data analysis and reporting • Project planning and coordination • Benefits communication and education • Attention to detail • Customer service • Process improvement • Self-motivated, collaborative, solutions-driven, confident, and able to take initiative with little direction
