Descrição

• Design, build, and code critical aviation intelligence projects involving real-time data streaming and inference, high-throughput data availability, AI/ML, and converting raw data into actionable insight • Help plan and communicate project work • Develop solutions for large, open-ended datasets and complex performance and efficiency problems • Build and maintain production data and infrastructure systems • Improve products whose predictions support airlines and airports in reducing missed flights and delays • Collaborate within a small Aviation Intelligence team inside a large organization • Contribute ideas and grow beyond execution-focused responsibilities

🎯 Requisitos

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company immigration sponsorship now or in the future • Intermediate or better knowledge of Rust • Python experience • Experience with Unix-style systems, including basic administration and managing work • Hands-on Kubernetes experience operating production workloads • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub Actions, or similar • Ability to work within an agile development style • Preferred: experience with AWS, including EKS, IAM, VPCs, and networking • Preferred: experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code • Preferred: experience with Kafka • Preferred: experience with Nix • Preferred: solid understanding of distributed systems, reliability, and scaling • Preferred: experience with observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Thanos • Preferred: familiarity with Dagster, Airflow, or other modern ETL orchestration tools • Preferred: background in production ML/AI systems and MLOps • Preferred: experience optimizing infrastructure for performance and cost • Preferred: familiarity with Iceberg, Spark, Elasticsearch, and other large-scale data processing systems • Preferred: experience working in hybrid infrastructure environments involving cloud and on-premises Kubernetes
