Descrição

• Develop and maintain custom scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks related to mechanical engineering workflows • Use Python, MATLAB, or similar programming languages for data analysis and simulation • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions with existing engineering systems • Lead installation, configuration, and deployment of software tools for mechanical engineering analysis, modeling, and simulation • Troubleshoot software issues and provide technical support to engineering teams • Ensure timely software updates and patches to maintain functionality and security • Manage and track engineering software licenses and ensure compliance with licensing agreements • Collaborate with procurement, IT, and engineering teams to assess software needs and optimize the tool suite • Maintain centralized inventories of software licenses, user access, and renewal schedules

🎯 Requisitos

• University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field • Technical Support and Admin experience with Windows and/or Linux Environments • Programming experience with Python, MATLAB, or equivalent languages • U.S. citizenship required • Experience in the aerospace or defense industry preferred • Strong communication and interpersonal skills preferred • Experience working in development teams using Agile concepts and methodologies preferred • Experience in a mechanical engineering role with demonstrated expertise in software license management preferred • Familiarity with software licensing models and agreements preferred • Proficiency in software deployment and troubleshooting for engineering tools such as CAD, FEA, and CFD applications preferred • Familiarity with DevOps practices or version control systems such as Git preferred • Ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance may be required in the future after start date
