Descrição

• Lead data platform strategy and execution in partnership with the CDAO • Translate data strategy into engineering roadmaps with clear owners, timelines, and outcomes • Make consequential architectural decisions for the data platform • Own the Snowflake data lake end to end, from ingestion to serving • Develop, maintain, and evolve the data platform and associated services • Architect data models and patterns supporting analytics, AI/ML pipelines, and customer-facing products • Design and operate pipelines for data quality, lineage, access control, and regulatory requirements • Drive cross-functional data initiatives with platform engineering, AI, and product teams • Complete orientation into the Snowflake platform, data models, and governance infrastructure within 30 days • Make meaningful platform contributions and begin executing improvements within 60 days • Own a substantive governance, data-model, or cross-functional initiative end to end within 90 days

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • 7+ years of data engineering experience, including senior or lead scope with real architectural ownership • Deep and current Snowflake expertise, including dynamic tables, Openflow, replication, masking and row access policies, performance tuning, and Snowflake Intelligence • Expertise in SQL and Python • Practical use of generative AI in building and problem-solving • Experience working in insurance, ideally at a P&C carrier, MGA, reinsurer, or insurtech • Understanding of insurance data terminology, including submissions, policy, exposure, and claims • Experience leading architecture decisions and influencing engineers and non-engineers • Experience working within AI/ML governance frameworks • Understanding of GDPR and CCPA regulatory requirements for data storage, access, and movement • Position does not include visa sponsorship
