• Responsible for sourcing new and working with existing customers to help them solve their Audio, Visual, Lighting, and Controls (A/V/L/C) needs • Meet or exceed annual sales goals by identifying and sourcing new customers • Drive the project quotation process and provide excellent customer service • Active and ongoing prospecting of potential customers • Develop price quotations and bid responses that are timely, complete, accurate, and profitable • Maintain a strong sales pipeline with detailed weekly reporting • Maintain understanding of products and services and stay revised with new A/V/L/C equipment, gear, accessories, and industry trends • Attend weekly meetings and participate in periodic training and product education sessions • Daily travel in central/northern Georgia to source, visit and grow customer relationships
• 2+ years Sales experience in the Audio/Video/Light (AVL) commercial integration industry • The ability to identify and expand the customer base • The ability to create and implement business plans to include cold calling and prospecting • Demonstrated success in developing cold targets into converted sales • Good understanding of the AVL marketplace including products and trends • Strong communication, customer service and negotiation skills • Excellent organizational skills and ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects with minimal direction and within promised deadlines • Availability to work outside of normally scheduled work hours and travel as needed • Good understanding of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word
