Descrição

• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality control plan for maintenance and repair projects within the USACE RMMR program • Define quality standards and establish inspection and testing protocols • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, specifications, and performance work statement requirements • Provide leadership and oversight to project teams, contractors, and maintenance personnel regarding quality requirements • Conduct preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections, including reviewing maintenance plans and performing visual inspections • Oversee testing procedures assessing materials, workmanship, and repair processes • Identify and document non-conforming work or materials • Develop corrective actions with project stakeholders and track implementation • Verify corrective-action effectiveness and resolve quality issues promptly • Maintain inspection reports, daily quality reports, test results, non-conformance reports, and corrective-action documentation • Prepare reports for project stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and senior management • Analyze quality-control data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive measures • Evaluate quality-control processes and recommend enhancements • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies to foster quality and compliance • Train and guide maintenance and repair personnel on quality-control procedures and standards • Monitor applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards • Ensure repair and maintenance activities comply with environmental, safety, and health regulations • Mentor subordinate staff if supervisory responsibilities exist • Travel up to 50% to domestic locations and attend meetings or on-site events • Support quality control for recurring maintenance and minor repair of Department of Defense fuel facilities

🎯 Requisitos

• Graduate engineer or graduate of construction management with a minimum of 5 years’ experience on operation and maintenance of fueling facilities, or 10 years’ experience on operation and maintenance of fueling facilities • Strong knowledge of construction, maintenance, and repair methods, materials, and quality-control standards • Familiarity with relevant construction quality-control codes, regulations, and industry standards • Current USACE EM 385-1-1 training or thorough demonstrated knowledge • Current Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) issued by USACE/NAVFAC required, or must be obtained prior to start date • Certified Construction Quality Manager (CCQM), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or similar credentials desirable • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project and/or other applicable software • Knowledge and ability to work in USACE RMS required • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, contracts, and legal documents • Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business-community members • Ability to present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors • Successful pre-employment federal background check, MVR, and drug screen • Compliance with company drug and alcohol policy • Authorized to work in the US or authorized by the start date • Ability to use a computer at a desk; talk and hear; reach with hands and arms; lift up to 10 pounds; stand, sit, and walk • Ability to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, and stairs • Ability to respond quickly to sounds and dangerous situations • Ability to wear personal protective gear most of the day • Close and color vision, depth and peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus • Reliable transportation, current valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance • Ability to obtain security badges and basic security clearances for federal or secure facilities
