Descrição

• Manage and coordinate Zayo's long haul OSP deployment to meet customer expectations and Zayo standards • Ensure consistency and budget alignment • Manage OSP vendors daily to expedite splicing and testing of fiber optic OSP facilities • Conduct active testing evaluation to ensure fibers meet OSP requirements • Participate in mandatory rotating on-call duty for network outages and emergency restoration activities • Coordinate vendor access to customer and network points of presence • Assist with planning and implementation of fiber connectivity solutions programs and projects within approved plans, budgets, and schedules • Provide specialized telecommunications technical expertise • Coordinate internal and external resources to complete projects on time • Oversee technical products, services, programs, policies, procedures, controls, and services for the managed units • Implement commercial and carrier fiber networks, infrastructure, backbone, and lateral builds • Implement customer-installation projects and services in data center environments • Oversee vendor compliance with OSP deliverables • Create and track project budgets in relation to Network Operations • Interface directly with customers, subcontractors, jurisdictional authorities, and interoffice personnel • Support customer meetings, including in-person meetings and travel to client or construction sites • Oversee procurement of project equipment and materials • Execute the bid process, including budget requirements and tracking • Verify and update project documentation • Track project progress and budgets in Sitetracker and manual trackers • Update budget requests, purchase orders, project closeout, and internal service orders in Salesforce

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor's degree preferred • Minimum of five (5) years in the telecommunications industry • Experience with outside plant, fiber optics, telecommunication architectures, optical transport equipment, and project management • Fiber optic cable splicing and testing knowledge preferred • Minimum of three (3) years' familiarity with all types of outside plant construction • Experience managing large capital projects • Familiarity with Email, MS Excel, Word, Google Earth, and AutoCAD • Ability to manage multiple aggressive RFP and design construction schedules and responses • Ability to understand and read construction and fiber splicing documents • Familiarity with all facets of OSP management, including quoting, construction, troubleshooting, and delivery • Valid driver's license and ability to drive to assigned projects • Ability to perform on-site surveys and attend required field meetings • Ability to occasionally meet with municipalities and vendors to review project scope • Mandatory rotating on-call duty for network outages and emergency restoration activities
